COST OF TREATMENT is an important consideration when choosing a mental health provider ....
Insurances accepted are Aetna, Anthem, Humana, Cigna and United Health. Insurance coverage benefits vary widely, but we have tried our best to provide estimated costs below.
INITIAL VISIT: 60-75 minutes. Our pre-visit questionnaire and 60-75 minute initial evaluation incorporate several diagnostic assessment tools that will deteremine if ADHD and/or other mental health conditions are causing your difficulties. Most clients will have a confirmation of their diagnosis and treatment options by the end of our Initial Visit.
If your yearly deductible has not been met, your Initial Visit copayment may be $150-$350.
If your yearly deductible has been met, your initial Visit copayment may be $50-$150.
FOLLOW-UP VISITS: 30 minutes. Please anticipate 4 follow-up visits during the first 6-8 weeks since there is no way to predict ahead of time which medication will work for each individual. Most ADHD medications work quickly, so only short trials are needed to find the one that works best for you. If you have taken an effective ADHD medication in the past, this time frame may be shorter.
If your yearly deductible has not been met, your follow-up copayment may be $85-$130.
If your yearly deductible has been met, your follow-up copayment may be $30-$75.
You may also have special mental health copayments through your insurance company that have lower copayments than mentioned above.
Many people use their HSA accounts to cover their costs. If you are thinking about starting treatment in 2024, this estimate may help you plan how much you would like to contribute to your HSA for the new year.
Routine 30-minute follow-up visits are scheduled every 3 months once you are stable on an effective medication. Many people will be stable on a dose for a long time prior to needing an adjustment.
Payment is due at time of service and sliding scale or financing is not offered.
Prior to an Initial Evaluation, our free ADHD Health Screener will determine if your symptoms are found to be significantly more complex than we are able to evaluate or treat (learning disorders, autism, substance use disorder, severe mental illness, multiple co-occurring conditions, etc.).
